The purpose and objectives of the Chapter shall be as follows:

1.      To support the Chancellor, Board of Trustees, Administration, Faculty, Staff, Student Body of Troy University, and the communities surrounding the Pensacola Bay area;

2.      To promote the interests of Troy University alumni and their continuing post-academic enrichment;

3.      To promote mutually beneficial relations between the university and its alumni;

4.      To promote continuing alumni interest in and loyalty to Troy University through programs, services and merchandise;

5.      To assist in the recruitment of outstanding students for Troy University;

6.      To endeavor to provide scholarships for students in Troy University;

7.      To provide continuity of transition from student to alumnus at the local campuses, and to facilitate loyalty and affiliation with not only their local campus, but the Troy campus too.

8.      To establish a community presence and to align the core competencies of Troy University with the needs of the community in the form of projects or events, that improves the community and elevates the university and its standing in the community.
